I just received these words from Adam:
Good news and bad news...
good news - Charli did not have the surgery today. The opening in the valve was so small (and she's so sick) that they decided she doesn't need it right now. That doesn't guarantee that we won't need it later, but we're hopeful.
bad news - Charli's infection is getting worse. This is definitely bad news. Please keep praying about this. She's been on antibiotics, but she hasn't responded yet. We're hoping she'll start responding soon.
Love to all,
Adam"
"I remember the days of long ago, I meditate on all your works and consider what your hands have done. I spread out my hands to you; my soul thirsts for you like a parched land." - Psalm 143:5-6
i've thought of little else all weekend. we were in alabama visiting mclean and had alex and sarah with us… while sarah (alex's girlfriend) doesn't know you, her heart is breaking for your babies and for you, and is resting on the will of our sovereign God. mclean and alex were so blown away by the news, and are in prayer for you as well.
ReplyDeletewe are on our collective knees for you… interceding with words, and when we can't find any, with groans… loving you…
I am so sorry you are going through this. I am probably one of the few people who honestly know what you are going through. I delivered triplets at 25 weeks in 1992, only to loose two of my precious angels. Please know that your family will be in my thoughts and prayers!
