What a wonder, what a JOY to get the exciting call just now from Adam that Charli and Kelly had their first successful time of breastfeeding together this morning! Thanks be to God! He knows what will best sustain and grow Charli and His is such a marvelous Creator KING!!
Here are some updates from last night about Charli too!
"she's a little over 3lbs and 10 ounces... (
she's now getting 30 cc's of milk in an hour (that = 1 ounce). then she's off for two hours. then she does it again...
two heart rate drops yesterday. not sure why. all in all, she seems to be doing well. no new word on her eyes. she did not pass the eye exam. i guess the concern is that when they receive so much oxygen it can damage their retinas. we'll keep praying about this."
praying Lord Jesus for Charli's eyesight… you are the great Creator and Healer. you know the plans you have for Charli… plans to prosper her and not to harm her, plans to give her hope and a future…
